The signage and print sector has been rather slow to adopt the use of 3D software in the design process, in contrast to many other 3D design industries where the usage of 3D software such as ArchiCAD, Rhino, and others has altered both workflows and outcomes. Early 3D rendering software was an expansion of pattern cutting technologies in use in the fashion industry.
The Lockerbox Co. is trying to be as green as possible, so as we go forward, we intend to use 3D rendering and AR software to present samples to clients that request them. As the tech becomes more accessible, this will soon become industry standard and we would like to be at the forefront of that.

Hello all, it’s been a while since we reached out.
We’ve been busy working non-stop on designing and printing LockerBoxes, as companies have now moved back into the office full time, often with flexible seating plans implemented. So now workers across all offices need a little less chaos, and a little more organisation in their life.
We’ve seen an uptick in companies who want to help out their employees and make their day-to-day lives a little more simple, and in turn help everyone stay more focused. Recently we’ve been working on some LockerBox ONE designs for Forsta, a company that specialises in experience and research technology.
Using a combination of our innovative materials engineering, some great design work on their part, and our top of the line printers we were able to provide them with some gorgeous agile work products. Forsta selected the LockerBox ONE model for its durability and cost-effectiveness. We collaborated with Forsta to make sure it was colourful and unique, and brought a bit of life into the office for them.
Forsta’s LockerBoxes were printed on our large format Canon Arizona, one of the best printers on the market for projects such as these. Our Arizona is our most hard-working machine.
Our LockerBox ONE model is made from a robust card, which is fully recyclable. We also offer branding and artworking to our clients that want to make a bit of a splash in their office with some colourful and interesting pieces. They feature two removable internal storage pockets and a carry handle that has been ergonomically designed to be as comfortable as possible.

Back in April 2015 Vitra loved our Lockerbox One so much they asked us to produce and brand a version for them.

Quarterly architecture and design magazine On Office article ‘Agile working boxes: a post COVID necessity?’ talks about how storage boxes for hot-desking offices offer a slither of protected space in the next evolution of the open-plan workplace.
Hugh Metcalf writes, “the lack of ownership of space in the agile working or hot desking workplace is both a strength and a flaw.

Agile working focuses on achievements and results, that means there needs to be trust between employees and managers that the job will get done.
Agile working often heralded as a great way of attracting millennials to your company. A survey in 2017 showed that they believe agile working increases productivity and staff engagement, and enhances well-being, health and happiness. But millennials aren’t the only demographic making up your workforce. Agile working practices need to work for everyone in your company. For it to work for everyone you will need to combine strong management with an open and collaborative culture where every single employee is encouraged and provided with the necessary training.

When people talk about agile or flexible working they instinctively focus on flexible hours, hot-desking or home working. This leads us to ask do we have a real understanding of the terminology. What is agile working? How is it different from hot-desking or flexible working?
We’ve done some research and found that whatever the differences in opinion over definition the idea of agile working is to create more efficient and effective organisations based on balanced, motivated, innovative and productive teams and individuals. These ingredients are most important for surviving and thriving in the challenging global world of today. Twentieth century working methods are no longer appropriate for organisations today, and so agile working is no longer a fringe idea but a mainstream concept that no organisation can afford to ignore.
We found an invaluable article published by Overbury, an office fit-out specialist, that helps to explain the differences in the various terms used for modern working practices - Here: Agile Working V’s Hot-desking.

Pret A Manger decided to go for the Locker Box One for their London office. A recycled cardboard branded locker organiser for the hot desking environment. Smart offices using lockers instead of pedestals need a caddie to carry and store their everyday items and to take from locker to desk and back again.
